Role/Job Title:  AI/ML or Data Scientist Engineer (Generative AI Operations - GenOps)

We are seeking a skilled AI/ML or Data Scientist Engineer to join our team in India, focusing on Generative AI Operations (GenOps). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Python, Airflow, KubeFlow, GitHub, Pandas, PyTorch, and other common machine learning Python libraries. The primary responsibilities will include developing and maintaining the Generative AI Operations platform, building data ingestion/embedding pipelines, creating KubeFlow pipelines for model operations, and constructing an administrative application for operational management.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop the Generative AI Operations platform, encompassing data ingestion, model serving, and administrative functionalities.
  • Build a data ingestion/embedding generation pipeline, processing unstructured files and populating a vector database.
  • Design and implement KubeFlow pipelines (KF pipes) for model operations, including fine-tuning and serving layers (KF serve), ensuring compatibility with Ray and/or TGI.
  • Conduct exploratory optimization work to enhance model performance and compatibility.
  • Construct a comprehensive Admin application for operational management and control, utilizing .NET, React.js, and Postgres.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, software developers, and domain experts to integrate AI/ML solutions into existing systems and workflows.
  • Research and implement state-of-the-art techniques in Generative AI, exploring advancements in deep learning models, reinforcement learning, and other relevant areas.
  • Conduct performance monitoring and optimization of deployed models, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data pipelines, model architectures, and system configurations to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in AI/ML operations, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and innovation within the team.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in AI/ML and Data Science roles, with a focus on machine learning operations.
  • Proficiency in Python, Airflow, KubeFlow, GitHub, Pandas, PyTorch, and other common machine learning Python libraries.
  • Strong understanding of data ingestion, model serving, and administrative functionalities.
  • Experience with building and deploying KubeFlow pipelines (KF pipes) for model operations.
  • Familiarity with exploratory optimization techniques and model compatibility.
  • Previous experience in developing administrative applications using .NET, React.js, and Postgres is desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
